Salomon South Africa took me 'on board' as a Salomon ambassador! What a privilege! The only off-road shoe that im willing to put on my feet, and i now get them for free! Does it get better than that?? SLABs are 'THE BOMB!'

What a year!!
I've had extreme ups and extreme downs in the past 12 months! 
Starting with my first pro race at Ironman 70.3 in East London...a serious shock treatment into...no sugar-coating, lesson learned the hard way, don't go into a race underprepared! holy crap!
Ok, so I'll give myself a chance to recover from brutality and go do a fun XTERRA in Grabou... Fast and hard is apparently fun :)! With a competitive nature comes an unfortunate inability to race slowly for fun, without 150% effort.
My race in Grabou managed to qualify mr for the first ever ITU Cross triathlon world champs in Spain! as a pro.... DOH! Ive done it again..
But going into the race as best prepared as i could be with the time i had, saw me steadily work my way to finishing 9th Elite lady!
